| PowerArc
Lights eliminate wasted light, creating brighter warning lights. As
the size of the emergency vehicles has increased, so has the amount
of signal blockage caused by the design of the apparatus. A common
example is the wasted rear warning signal from a standard lightbar
on a fire engine with a raised cab or on the front of an ambulance.
By using controlled arc elements instead of old fashioned rotators,
PowerArc
puts the light only where it is needed.
PowerArc
Lights are engineered to last for the life of the apparatus and
come in sizes and performance levels to meet any need. When electrical
power is limited, lower wattage lamps can be used and still obtain
excellent performance. Incredibly efficient, PowerArc
systems exceed all of the requirements found in NFPA 1901, ASTM
F 2020-00, SAE J2498 and KKK-A1822-E. A PowerArc
compliant system operates at 12.8 volts and can be provided in almost
any color combination within the color guidelines and minimum levels
of optical power found in the above standards. In some cases, it
may be possible for Fire Products to certify a system that has a
non-PowerArc
lightbar if all other devices are PowerArc
products.
PowerArc
Lightbars are constructed on massive aluminum frames. The surface
mounted devices are built on zinc die cast, triple chrome plated
back plates. All lamps are standard bayonet base halogens. The element
base plate, motor bracket, and helical drive belt system are all
stainless steel. The bearings are sintered bronze lubricated to
operate in temperatures from -40o to 400o F. The reflectors are
individually spun from .040 aluminum and then vacuum metalized.
Each element is individually powered and can be easily removed for
repair or replacement. PowerArc
warning lights are truly designed to withstand the rigorous demands
of the emergency services.
All PowerArc
products come with a standard 2 year limited warranty. |
